Is This Covered By Insurance or Eligible For Flex Benefits?
As of January 1999, Laser Vision Correction became eligible for your flex spending benefits plan. Please check with your plan administrator to determine your maximum contribution. Typically, laser vision correction is not a covered benefit through your insurance company. However, if this is a question, please contact your benefits department or call your insurance customer relations department and ask them if they cover laser vision correction, more specifically LASIK or PRK.

In addition, some vision plans and healthcare insurance groups have laser vision correction discount programs with CEI. Be certain to ask the refractive coordinator or scheduler during your consultation to see if you qualify.
